The 2016-17 Premier League campaign is going to be enormous for the city of Manchester.
Both United and City will start the season with new managers: Jose Mourinho is installed at Old Trafford, while Pep Guardiola is the boss at the Etihad.
Mourinho and Guardiola obviously have history, from when they managed Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
United & City buys
Both Manchester clubs have already been busy in the transfer market.
United have signed Eric Bailly from Villarreal, while Michael Carrick has penned a one year extension to remain at the Theatre of Dreams.
City meanwhile have signed Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund, although the German international is currently injured and unlikely to be fit for the start of the new campaign.
