Manchester United elusively announced the Paul Pogba deal yesterday, with their Twitter hashtag ‘Pogback’. But such was the endless saga of the Pogba transfer that United fans wouldn’t be happy until they saw a picture of him in the shirt in Manchester.
And after pictures emerged of the Frenchman arriving at Carrington for his medical earlier, United fans now have the picture they were waiting for: medical completed, he’s now a Man United player, pending official announcement.
The French attacking midfielder has been pictured in a United shirt, alongside three women in what looks like a laundrette of some description.
It appears that this photo wasn’t supposed to get out, as the club obviously wanted to post the first picture of Pogba in a United shirt, but such is the instant madness of social media these days that the clubs are rarely granted that chance any more.
Whatever – the fact is that Paul Pogba’s Manchester United deal is done and dusted.
