Paul Pogba to Man United & John Stones to Man City are virtually done deals

Both Manchesters United and City are set to boost their squad options considerably in the next few days.
That’s according to The Times journalist Rory Smith, who was a guest on BBC 5 Live radio on Friday night.

In what will be welcome signings at both Old Trafford and the Etihad respectively, Paul Pogba is on the verge of rejoining the Red Devils, while Everton’s John Stones in teaming up with Sky Blues.

BBC radio updates
Pogba is expected to join from Juventus for a fee in the region of £100m, while Everton are set to receive £50m for the sale of Stones.

Rory Smith reported on the BBC:
It is much more an issue of when Pogba joins United, rather than whether he joins United. Pretty much everything, as we understand it, is sorted out.

When asked about how Stones’ move to Manchester City is progressing, Smith said:
That is another one that has got to that stage where we all start to think this is now a matter of when not if. It can be a very slow process at the end, but it will go through in the coming days.
