Mahrez Seeks Leicester City Exit

English Premier League champions, Leicester city, are set to lose a key player following reports that playmaker Riyad Mahrez snubbed a new deal and is on the hunt for a new challenge.

This comes after it was reported that midfielder Ngolo Kante has agreed to join Chelsea FC subject to a medical this weekend.
Although Leicester look to have already signed a replacement for Kante by signing defensive midfielder Nampalys Mendy, one wonders what happens next if they lose such an important player in Mahrez.
Mahrez who still has three years to run in his contract joined Leicester in 2014 from French side Le Havre for £375,000.
This will likely be a reason the foxes would cash in on the PFA player of the year, as he has attracted widespread attention from clubs in England and overseas after his performances in their title-winning season.

With both Kante and Mahrez looking to exit the club, one wonders if Leicester can retain the trophy.
The champions have so far made 2 signings in Ahmed Musa and Mendy.
