Robin van Persie’s Premier League return?
The Sun on Sunday have got two London based Premier League sides very excited.
Former Arsenal and Man United striker Robin van Persie, now 32, has been linked with a return to English football this weekend.Rather than heading to one of the elite clubs, it’s West Ham and Crystal Palace who are supposedly in a tug of war for the Dutch striker.
RVP is currently on the books at Fenerbahce, however his time in Turkey hasn’t been smooth sailing.
Critically, Van Persie hasn’t always locked down a starting berth for the Istanbul giants.

Palace & West Ham fight for RVP

The Sun on Sunday report the following to their readers:
Robin van Persie could make a sensational return to the Premier League this summer after being offered to West Ham and Crystal Palace.
His representatives have offered him around to numerous clubs but the Dutch star is believed to want to move his family back to London.

Last week, Fenerbahce president Azil Yildirim confirmed he would listen to offers for the striker:
Van Persie? We’re waiting for buyers, if he wants to be sold.

On the face of it, RVP may consider the Hammers to be a more attractive option, as the Irons are in the Europa League plus they are moving into their new Olympic Stadium. But will RVP start for Slaven Bilic?
By contrast, Palace may be slightly behind West Ham, but Van Persie would surely be the number one forward at the Eagles were he to join.

Van Persie scored 20 goals in 45 appearances last season.
