Palermo confirm Tottenham talks over Vazquez

Palermo have confirmed that they are in negotiations with Tottenham over star playmaker Franco Vazquez, but they will hold out for a hefty transfer fee.
The Argentine star has been at the Sicilian club since 2012-13, and has won rave reviews after coming to prominence alongside current Juventus striker Paulo Dybala.

Club president Maurizio Zamparini has now revealed talks are ongoing for the Italy international, with Mauricio Pochettino interested in taking his compatriot to White Hart Lane.
"I'm in contact with Tottenham for Vazquez and I requested €25 million for him," the Palermo chief confirmed to Sky Sports on Tuesday.
