Singer opens up about 2009 incident for the first time in new documentary trailer
Chris Brown has opened up about the 2009 assault of his then girlfriend Rihanna in a new documentary.
The singer-songwriter revealed he “contemplated suicide” after speaking about the incident for the first time in a trailer for Welcome To My Life.
peaking to the camera in the full-length clip, the 26 year old recalls the incident in which he was charged with assault following an argument with the singer.
“Going from being on top of the world, number 1 songs, being kind of like America’s sweetheart to being public enemy number 1,” Chris says.
“I felt like a f*****g monster.“I was thinking about suicide and everything. I wasn’t sleeping, I barely ate… I just was getting high.”
