She made a shock return to Hollyoaks on Tuesday's episode and Jennifer Metcalfe looked utterly delighted by it all as she stepped out in Liverpool on Wednesday. The 31-year-old actress - who plays feisty Mercedes McQueen - could not keep the huge smile off her face as she ran errands in the city. Jennifer was dressed down in workout gear and the tight black leggings emphasised her curvy derriere while her matching top highlighted her slim waist.

She wore a baseball cap over her perfectly straightened hair and looked tanned despite the winter weather.
