An Illegal immigrant crushed to death after clinging underneath a lorry on it's journey from France to UK.

An illegal immigrant from Sudan who is believed to have travelled to the the UK from Calais while clinging to the bottom of a lorry has died after falling beneath the vehicle's wheels. It is believed the man, along with another Sudanese national, secretly climbed underneath a foreign HGV in the French Port at around 11am on Friday and wedged themselves into position, Scotland Yard said.

But hours later one of the men was killed when he tried to climb out from beneath the lorry while it was stationary in a motorway lane. It is believed the lorry's back wheels fatally crushed him as it started to move off.The men decided to leave the lorry about 7pm because of the extreme cold, police believe. The first man managed to climb out successfully.
According to reports, a passerby stopped and pulled the injured man to the side of the road but then mysteriously drove off. A second member of the public also stopped to offer assistance.

Police say that the lorry arrived in the UK early this morning and was travelling towards London on the M25.London's Air Ambulance attended, but the second man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic on the M25 and surrounding routes suffered major delays due to a road closure.
